Dave Webb
Dave Webb was born to be a musician. After picking up guitar in high school, Dave started an originals/cover band called Pilot, who supported After The Fall and played alongside Little Birdy, 28 Days, Karnivool and Something With Numbers.
He performed with original band, A Second To Surface as a singer, guitarist and composer. This band were the finalist of Emergenza in 2009, playing at The Metro in Sydney.
He joined band Modern Error to become their lead vocalist in 2010. Their song “Don’t Tease” was used for the TVS show Flesh Air. They won the Guinness Live Thursdays Competition and were flown to Ireland to perform.
He has performed in the lead role of many musicals, including Evita, Into The Woods, Rock Of Ages and most recently, Xanadu.
Dave Webb Music is another side to Dave’s performance abilities. He performs as a solo musician and works in sound production. He created, produced and did all instrumentation for the duo’s album “Subtitles”. He specialises in creation of music, theme tunes and backing tracks for all media purposes.
Lauren Hagney
Lauren Hagney has been performing in bands as a singer around the Central West for over 18 years. As a vocalist, she is renowned for her powerhouse voice and ability to harmonise.
Her performance skills come from a broad base of experiences including commercial radio training. She has been a regular on the local music scene for 20 years with her roles in musical theatre, public celebrations such as “Carols by Candlelight” and her performances with a Motown ensemble.
Covers being most of her musical background, she is thrilled with the new joy found in creating original music in Momentum!
